Can you provide a female voice over?

Hi. Unfortunately I can’t provide a female voice over at this time.

Do you translate from English to Norwegian?

Yes, I do. I’m fluent in English and can help you translate your script, even if it’s advanced English. My spoken English is naturally coloured by my native tongue – Norwegian, so I won’t do English recordings unless you specifically need a Norwegian accent.

What styles can you provide on a voice over?

It’s all up to you! I can record my voice in an energetic, hard-sell style, or a soft-sell, elegant style. I can be your corporate style voice over, the friendly guy next door, and anything in-between. I do not do character voices however, so Mickey Mouse is not an option.

Can you help me to write a script?

I’d be glad to help you out with your script! I have experience in writing for commercials, websites and sales pitches.

What type of work won’t you do?

I won’t record anything illegal or unethical. My voice is my brand and to make sure my clients get a trustworthy voice-over, I won’t record anything for illegal purposes. If you’re in doubt, please contact me before placing your order.

Do you speak “standard Norwegian dialect” (bokmål)?

Yes. I speak the dialect used by news and radio, considered to be the main official dialect in Norway. I can deliver slight variations of this dialect, depending on your need for a local slang/jargon and sound.

Will you do quality control of my script before recording?

I can. This is an extra service and you can choose it when placing your order (Proofreading script). If you don’t, I will read your script exactly as it is written – but in order to provide you with the best possible service, I will let you know if your script needs improvement.
