FAQ

Can you record a voice over in English with a German accent?

I don’t have a noticeable heavy German accent. Please ask me for a sample to determine if I am a good match for your project.

Do you speak High German ?

I am originally from Bavaria, the southern part of Germany. High standard isn’t very common there. You will hear an accent especially in phrases that contain the letters “Pr”, “Kr” or “Gr”. If you are interested in a sample or an audition don’t hesitate to ask. I am always happy to help.

Do you offer lip sync or dubbing?

I don’t offer lip sync at this time. I only offer audio sync.

Can you sync your voice over to an existing video so it will match the timing?

Yes. Please make sure your script length is reasonable. As a general guideline you can fit approx.100 -120 words into 1 minute depending on the style. English to German translations tend to run a bit longer. I prefer to translate the scripts myself, which allows me to rework the script if needed.

Important information regarding audio sync!

I will try my best to match the timing of your video.
However, the script length is the most important factor and should match the original script length used in the existing video.
I don’t offer video editing, therefor I am unable to adjust certain segments of your video.

Can I pick the delivery format?

If you have any preferences, please let me know. MP3 files are usually compressed since they have a smaller size which can lead to a higher distortion and loss in the higher frequencies. Wav files are umcompressed and larger, have a higher quality coding which results in a higher quality.

Do you offer free revisions?

Yes, every order includes a revision. However, script changes are not included!

Is there something you don’t offer?

At this time I won’t be able to accept scripts of 1500+ words. No audio books, no adult content please. Thank you for understanding.
